About Givoogle
How it works: every time someone visits Givoogle, money is raised for charity.
Advertisers pay Givoogle to have their ad displayed. The more people who visit, the more money advertisers pay, and the more money is raised.

If just 0.01% of people currently using Google switch to Givoogle, we can raise millions of dollars to fight cancer!
100% of the proceeds from Givoogle (less operating costs not to exceed 9%) are donated to a large, well-respected, well-known cancer charity. Learn more.

Frequently Asked Questions
What cancer charity do you donate to?
We donate all proceeds to the American Cancer Society. To read latest happenings, click here.
How much money is raised per 1000 people who visit Givoogle?
Its hard to give an exact number because the amount changes everyday depending on our CPM (amount of money we receive per 1000 people). The amount can vary from a couple of cents to a couple of dollars per 1000 people.
Why did you choose to donate to a cancer charity as opposed to supporting another cause?
Because cancer is everyone's problem. No matter how young or old you are its likely that someone you know has battled with cancer. Both founders have also had relatives who have lost their lives to or are currently fighting cancer.
I often use Google to find pictures. Is there anyway to have a Givoogle image search?
Unfortunately, that is a feature that we cannot add at Givoogle. As much as we miss this feature we overlook it in order to contribute to a bigger cause.
Is it possible to set Givoogle as the search bar on my personal iGoogle page?
No unfortunately.
What proof is there that you are a legitimate site?
We're currently working with the American Cancer society to have a full transparency in terms or financing. We need to get through a lot of bureaucracy before this can be achieved. We therefore have no checks that we have written to them, because we never actually receive the money, the American Cancer Society does.
Would you consider letting people choose their own charity (instead of just cancer)?
At this point we want to make a substantial difference in one charity, but we plan on expanding as Givoogle grows.
Do the founders profit from the money raised from advertising?
No. Givoogle donates 91% of its profits to the American Cancer Society. The remaining 9% goes towards the operating costs of running Givoogle.
I know of another charity that could use your help. Could you please help raise money for them as well?
As much as we'd love to help, we have to respectfully decline. The American Cancer Society is very concerned with their image and who they are associated with. We're working towards having complete transparency with them and donating to another charity would add a new layer of complexity to our relationship.
I have an ad-blocker installed on my computer. Will this affect me when using Givoogle?
The ad-blocker you have installed can only block pop-up ads. This means all your contributions are counting.
I want to support Givoogle! I already set it as my homepage but what else can I do?
